Since the mid-eighties, Jacques Émond has been the artistic director of the Ottawa International Jazz Festival. His radio experience began at the French station CIMF-FM where he hosted a jazz program for seven years. Shortly after leaving the station, he moved to CKCU-FM where he produced first a big band show and then a more general jazz program. Jacques has been involved in all areas of music, including writing, producing and teaching.
