Using the best in computer software, they constantly update their programming to ensure a captivating, always-changing mix of the very best music. Can Galaxie use the blank spaces on-screen?
For reasons beyond our control, Galaxie is currently very limited with the number of characters and lines of information it can use. The reason is that part of the on-screen display set-up is controlled by each distributor. Therefore, Galaxie is using the maximum space allowed on-screen by each distributor, which includes only the information about what's playing. As technology changes and improves, we are working with each of our several distributors to improve our on-screen information presentation.
Can I make some special requests?
Galaxie always welcomes your suggestions. Your special requests help us make our service ever better. However, due to the very sophisticated system we use, the number of titles we play, the fact we broadcast a single-time release over five and a half time zones, and the millions of subscribers who listen to Galaxie all over the country, it is difficult to specify when a song will be played or if it's already part of the extensive playlist.

Can I buy music that is played on Galaxie?
Currently, Galaxie does not offer the option of an online music store. We are working on offering you this service.   You can currently save your favourite songs in your My Galaxie account for when the service is available.
How to enjoy Galaxie on your stereo system?
To better enjoy Galaxie, hook up your decoder to your sound system or wireless speakers!

It's easy, follow these simple steps:
Note that whether you subscribe to satellite or cable, the method of connecting to your stereo is the same.

Step 1.
a) Using audio cables connect the Digital Cable Terminal's (DCT) "AUDIO OUT" ports to the Stereo Amplifier's matching "AUDIO IN" ports.
b) If you have a Home Theatre system, you may use the available "AUDIO IN/ AUX" CD, DVD, VCR, or even TAPE ports, however, do not use the PHONO input since it is the wrong impedance.

Step 2.
On the front control panel of your stereo (input selector), select the chosen input source and… enjoy!
Turn your TV on if you want to know what's playing (i.e. Title, Artist, Album etc)
What is Galaxie's mission?

Galaxie's mission is to offer the Canadian public a vast selection of continuous music channels through as many distribution systems as possible. As well, Galaxie showcases the top Canadian talent alongside international artists.
