He has long been involved with many of the country’s main jazz events, including the JUNO Awards, ADISQ, National Jazz Awards, International Jazz Festivals in Montreal and Vancouver, West Coast Jazz Awards and others. He has also been a key player behind such shows as Jazz sur le vif, XY Jazz, Silence... on jazz. As executive producer for live recordings during jazz events, he has worked with most of today’s great names in jazz such as Charlie Haden, Bill Frisell, McCoy Tyner, Terence Blanchard, Brad Mehldau and Michel Donato.
