Pierre-Jean Lavigne

Pierre-Jean Lavigne has been hosting radio programs on CHUO in Ottawa, and CISM in Montreal for the better part of the last 11 years. Starting with rock and pop, he now grooves on air with all types of jazz, funk and world in radio as well as online podcasts. You can also catch him around town, performing with his band or his dj team in bars, cafes and special events, playing anything from Italian soundtracks, to samba, to jazz, filling dance floors and wowing the ears of unsuspecting crowds from all walks of life. If he’s not getting his hands dirty digging deep into record bins, writing critics for his zine or clocking countless hours on the Internet researching the music, he's establishing contacts with other aficionados and musicians. He's an all around music fan and incorporates it into every aspect of his life. He's made a career out of his passion and is enjoying every moment of it.
