True story: In the early 80's, I woke up one day, sat up in bed and said to myself, "I'm going to be in the music business." From that day forward, music was a part of my life. My incredibly varied music career has spanned many aspects from music store clerk at HMV to label representative at MCA Records. I've been a jazz singer, music manager and writer. Then CBC radio came calling and I fell in love with music all over again as a radio host. Supporting Canadian jazz has become a new passion for me. Much of my love of music came from watching early variety television. Dean Martin, Ed Sullivan, Carol Burnett and Rowan and Martin's Laugh In were my music teachers. I love an audience, love to entertain and love sharing a laugh. So having a role in programming Galaxie is another musical adventure that is part of being "in the music business". The excitement continues and I look forward to having some fun with Galaxie listeners.
